The Weissenhof chair was designed in 1927 by the architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. This first springy cantilever chair was shown at the Weissenhof exhibition in 1927. The cantilever chair has a frame made of nickel-plated tubular steel and a seat and backrest made of natural cane. A great chair with a great history.
